On my continuous journey to grow out my hair, I've tried many products. From horse shampoo to 'magic' brushes. You name it, I've tried it! But recently I've been trying this new product, a protein treatment by Lee Stafford. 'Hair That Never Grows Past A Certain Length'. It's a protein based treatment that you use between your shampoo and conditioner that is said to nourish your scalp and strengthen your hair.
I'm now on my third tub and I'm absolutely addicted! My hair feels so strong and thick lately and I put it all down to this treatment. And believe it or not; my hair is actually growing faster...a lot faster!
I couldn't recommend this product enough!

My Holy Grail Beauty Products
As I've noticed over the past few months there are some products that I always reach for. These are products that have really stood out for me in my beauty regime. They are all very affordable and are easily accessible.
1. Coconut Oil
I found out about this product on YouTube and have been in love with it since. It's uses are endless. I use it on my hair, scalp, lips, to condition my eyebrows and lashes and on dry skin on my body. It is super conditioning and I have really noticed an improvement on all the aforementioned, especially my hair, since I began using this product!
3. Rose Water
Rose water is said to unclog pores, thus preventing acne and pimples, it adds moisture to the skin and reduces redness. I always use this after my witch hazel and together they make my face look bright, healthy, clear and give an almost dewy appearance. I feel that after using these two products on my skin that my makeup applies easier and looks better on my skin.
4. NYC Bronze Color Wheel
I love this bronzer because it is the only drugstore bronzer that I could find without shimmer. It is very natural and not too dark on my pale skin. I use very little, just to contour my face and I think it does a great job without making it look like I'm wearing too much bronzer!
5. Dove Leave-In Condition & Care Spray
There isn't much to say about this product other than it does exactly what it says on the tin. I spray it in both wet and dry hair and it makes it feel healthy and soft without weighing my hair down or making it look greasy! I use this product everyday and will definitely repurchase it when I get through this bottle. It also smells lovely!
Well they are my 5 top go-to products! Let me know if you use any or are going to try any! :-)

2. Witch Hazel
Witch hazel has many benefits; it is an anti-inflammatory, it is an astringent (which means it helps close pores, is great on teenage skin and also helps cure eczema), it locks in moisture and is used to treat sun damaged skin. Since I have started using this my breakout have considerably lessened and the redness around my face has gone and left me with a more even skin tone. I will definitely be stocking up on this product!3. Rose Water

My attempt at home fitness.
Bought these today in hope to motivate myself to keep fit. All I need now is Zumba for the Wii and I think I'm prepared enough to start towards that flat, toned stomach I want! :-)
Beauty Trends For Spring/Summer 2013
Now that Christmas has passed and we're in the New Year it's time to start thinking about the new season. So I decided that I would post a few of my favorite beauty looks that we are sure to be seeing next month.
1. Natural/un-plucked eyebrows.
Some people are quite unsure about this look but I on the other hand am very excited. I know many girls that really like to have that perfect arch but from what I've seen big brows are the new statement piece of a look. I also like this trend because it beats the hassle of having to pluck. I don't know about you but I hate having to pluck my eyebrows; it's sore and leave nasty red marks on my skin where I've plucked.
2. The 'No Make-up Make-up' Look.
I love this trend coming into the warm weather. It's fast and easy! the perfect daytime look. It's like being natural but with a clearer complexion. Perfect. Also, an alternative to keep your skin clear is BB cream; gives all the coverage without the breakouts. This look is so pretty, I can't wait to go natural in the Spring.
3. A Pop of Color on the Lower Lash-Line
I love this look, so simple! Some day if you want to jazz up your 'no makeup makeup' look pop a bright eyeliner on your lower lash. You still look quite natural but with a subtle, yet noticeable, pop of color which will add definition to your eyes at the same time!
4. Matte Finish Skin
I'm so excited for this look. I think it's because dewy skin never looked good on me; I always looked oily. So I've invested in some Rimmel Stay Matte powder and I'm ready for the seasons ahead!
So these are a few of my most highly anticipated trends of Spring/Summer '13. Let me know if you will be trying any or if there are others you are excited about!
Happy reading, Lisa.
